Thanks Vince....what's been interesting is although I don't like stained water, it historically warms up faster and water temperature is always important, especially as we are rising from the long hard winter.....I have 6 to 10 degree differences in rivers that are only 5 to 10 miles apart......just shows you how important this often overlooked condition is to successful fishing......

nice jeffrey ,we are getting a few warm days and the sun is doing its job as i can actually see grass in my yard.they are catching limits of crappie in so illinois.still ice locked up here.thinking open water is at least a week or two away.

THANKS JEFFREY I KNOW but checked the lakes here yesterday and still iced up almost 100% . Just getting itchy to be casting a line is all.......

 I am waiting on that run myself.........I am going to try and get the "scruffser" out to Heavenly Ranch for the Copper-Nose explosion that I know is coming. ..............................Don

Yeah they are going shallow Don.....a lot of fun......I've been working around the house/yard since daylight....decided to fish afternoon  today to maximize the warm up in the shallows......looking forward to it for sure......Those bass guys are catching big stringers on Santee Cooper this weekend Don......top bag was 32 pounds yesterday........big girls are being caught!
