Here in Leesville, SC, we live just below the weather "break line""," between the upper and lower South.
This separating line has a name which escapes me. But right around a hundred all week, here, while MD hardly breaks 90. That illustrates it well.

Mason Dixon summer of 2014...only 4 days over 90 degrees and plentiful weekly rain. Todays high was 77 and windy.

I am still catching fish in and around spawning bed sites, with some fish actually being on deeper beds. I attribute a late spring and cool summer as part of the reason the fish are still checkin each other out.

Thanks Dick and Mark.......Yeah Jim.......we've had enough awkward weather to hold down the water temps and thus the gills have hung around and are still shallow in many local rivers.......
