Do you love big bluegill?
Comment
My most frequent small stream species .They love the Tabbert Ants and Crickets .Gotta try some of my Carl Hendrix creations on them !
LOL !!! I use to catch these a lot in my area;; just not as big as Jeff;s !!! ve a ;;((( dink factory;;;; not a big fish factory ;; )) LOLOL
The lake I spoke of was stocked and the fish quickly over populated .......but it's a trophy largemouth lake so the bass are getting large because of the green sunfish density........
Ah ha a Hendrix catcher !
Ah is that right Jeff.Green SF are invasive in New Jersey and I only recall catching four and seeing Greg catch two .They are agressive ,tough for their size and have big mouths .
Thanks Tooty.....
John, Green Sunfish are one of the only sunfish species I haven't caught on the Albemarle........the closest place I've personally caught them is Beaver Dam Lake in central Virginia.......
John this is one of the jigs Carl sent me, I've only fished the ones he sent me over the last couple weeks......my supply of Jelly Jigs is getting low so I save the ones I have left for special occasions.........
NICE ONE JEFFREY .......... CONGRATS TO YOU BUDDY
Jeff do you have Green Sunfish down there too?
