Hey Carl thanks........2017 has had all the ear marks of a great season........As of this morning I had caught 2,021 sunfish in 2017 and just under 2,400 crappie.........May is traditionally our third best month behind June and July but I experienced great quality and numbers in May this year with 1,130 gills boated.........I have three places that I rank in my top five local destinations that I won't fish until after the July Full Moon........One of my techniques to control my personal impact....This same discipline allowed me to share some of the best fishing of my life while my dad was visiting my home over the last 20 years. The balance of life in the Albemarle Estuary is incredible to me but I don't take it for granted.........
