We tight lined at night on Toledo Bend reservoir on the Louisiana/Texas line for years and frequently topped 20 inches there......I haven't done that yet in North Carolina or Virginia...

My biggest Crappie 16.5 came on a live shiner back in the 80's.I dont catch them that big anymore.
