THROW BACK THURSDAY FATHER'S DAY 2009 - KENNY AND HIS FIRST CARP
Saturday june 20 2009 I was doing some shoreline scouting for bank fishing and came across a school of carp that were feeding along the bank where a culvert was emptying into the lake from a swamp across the road. I stopped the truck along the road and watched as the carp moved across the open weed pocket roiling the silt. Just what I was looking for to bring the family Sunday to picnic and fish along the bank. Went home and rigged two carp rods and hooked up with six carp in a great afternoon of fishing the following day.
