...with this polar vortex raging thru... single digits at night i wouldnt be surprised to see skim ice back on monday or tuesday.

...water temps havnt gotten above 45 or so so far in this lake... B.Crappies in these smaller natural lakes hit the widest shallow fats in 3 FOW or so. found very active fish chasing small minnow style baits and jigs. 2" Berkley Power Minnows or 1.5" pink curly tail grubs mounted on 1/64 oz jig heads. Jelly Jigs were also a producer. no tipping or slip bobbers... casting and covering water.

What was your water temp Slip? I haven't found the Crappie yet and had 52-54 degree water the other day.
