I've seen a few Hank Parker's 2009 and 2010 on Craigslist. Advertised, and got removed in less than 3 days. Go figure. Parker's edition has a few custom jobs that would have cost the normal Outback $400 extra..all for the same price as the standard edition. Indeed, you lucked out David. Lesson learned ;)

Indeed! Hobie actually has a Hank Parker's 2007-2010 edition, with a few added upgrades to the standard Hobie Outback. The Outback with the Mirage drive is like a battle cruiser of kayak on the water. Quite fun.

That's one nice looking 'yak. If I am not mistaken,Hank Parker fishes out of a Hobie. They look like a lot of fun and easy to propell.

Tooty, that's the way the Hobie's designed it to sit. It's not really high at all actually. It literally fits the body contour just right to push with all our strength. We went out today as well. Rainy, windy, and cold, but they all enjoyed it.
