Hey Dick... thats a BIG hole, plenty of room. You oughta see the long pool below it too.
Greg, we were after trout but would have been happy with whatever we caught. Lisa and I both agree that all a fish has to have to be great... is a head and a tail.
The Blue River is one of Oklahoma's several winter trout fisheries. It also holds some dandy smallmouth and sunfish.

Spent a day on the Blue River... pretty spot! We popped down to Pennington Creek after lunch, but no joy. Water is still a little cold. This warm weather (72 on this very afternoon) has me itching to catch some Sunfish. Lisa and I got a GREAT deal on some new flyrods. We bought each other new 10 foot 4WT Reddingtons, they were just less than a hundred bucks each... BARGIN! They are fabulous rods.
