That is a beautiful photo Leo. What body of water is that? Looks good!

Steve, yep, it's the 2008 Skyskomsh Sunrise. That thing was built to handle class 5 rapid. The bladder covers are tough as kevlar. Just love going into the harsh environment where the fish holed up in.

david, you're not kidding about Bruce rig. We may as well take out boats and tie them to his. He'll keep us safe from the wind, and lead us to the monsters for the actions.

One thing Im getting here is never get rid of a boat! (Thanks, Steve :D)

And Bruce what did a GPS driven, positioning system set you back? Holy crap!

Nice looking set up there Leo. Is that a Dave Scadden boat? I have a Creek Company ODC16 that I really enjoy to use. Those style pontoons are really comfortable and fun to fish out of. Really great for small water. Don't use my pontoon much these day as there are not many small lakes or ponds to use it around here.

I just purchased a trolling motor with a GPS anchor.  Seems like it would be perfect for adjusting to breezy Southern California days.  :-)

david, a kayak is perfect for light wind (5mph to possibly 10). Anything greater, it will still cut through water like a knife, but you'll be taking a nice cold bath. A local kayak user was in the water near me. He was fully drenched with wind howling between 15 to 20mph, creating white caps.

I figured it was a wind hog, Leo. Tue anchoring systems make sense with that in mind.
It does often take an effort to actually fish from a boat, as opposed to boating with some fishing tossed in. I'm eyeballing a fishing ' yak fire that very reason. Plus the costs are lower and its simpler, overall.
The Good Ship Nguyen looks like fun.

david, forgot, that thing will sail in the wind due to high profile and wide, light body. Any inflatable will be like a leaf in the wind. Total time to set up is 15 from deploying out of the minivan to get it running towards the water. It takes only 10 min to remove and pack into the van.

JB, it may give birth to a larger bass boat. The Mrs. is anticipating on it giving birth to a healthy, monstrous size child. David, have never been a boat's fan on the water indeed. I like relaxation and very very slow moving. Just a pain dealing with wind.
