I hear you guys....only thing that's certain is March is unpredictable from a weather perspective.......the crappie on the Albemarle have moved shallow in the month of March at least 16 years in a row......that's how long I've kept records for here.......regardless of the weather we start wrestling with "tuxedo" crappie most often aligning with the dogwood bloom.......gills will pull in and run out on cold nights not fully committing until water temps remain at or near 50 degrees.........

We will not see the likes of spring for at least a month...10 to 14 inches of ice on most areas lakes and its sleeting/snowing at this hour. Shhheeessssshhhhh!
