Gotta try some of my brothers nymphs ,he made and gave me,on the carp sometime. That would be a blast hooking one .Great catch Chris!

Yeah they're pretty hard to find around here, unless you go to this river haha. Here is the prince nymph. I'll have to take a photo of the other fly soon. After inspecting the flies once I released the fish, I noticed that these fish BENT the hooks.

Very cool! I'm sure they are around, but I've not seen them locally.
Can we get a look at the fly that took your first carp?

Thanks guys! Seriously, they fight SO hard and don't stop. I think there might have been a couple 20 pounders in there... There were probably 100 carp in this one pool...

Very Nice, Chris! I consider the carp as a very overlooked gamefish, nationwide. Now you need to catch that 20-pounder!
