Great Scott!!!   (been watching Dennis the Menace reruns) I'd trade my left marble for that experience.

OK,  here's the story about this giant Redear Sunfish.  It was caught here in California at a new reservoir called Diamond Valley Lake.  The fisherman (not me) was fishing for bass when he caught this fish.  It really is 16 inches long and weighed 3.25 lbs. (I think it should have weighed more).  This lake was stocked with Florida Coppernose Bluegill and Redear Sunfish and they have grown into some real bruisers.  I would not be surprised to see a world record Redear or Bluegill come out of this great lake sometime soon.

What a fish, we should start seeing more and more of these bigger fish since they are the first line of defense in the zebra mussel invasion.
