Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Got out back for a bit. Caught about 10 LMB's 15 perch small and this crappie which was the only respectable fish. It is about 11 inches. Seen loads of gills but they just looked and didn't bite so I guess it's about time for the 2wt. The jig was a 2 tone with rubber tail and polar fleece.

IF I'm going for a Crappie dinner, that is the size I prefer. Get on that 2wt Dick and you'll feel them hit so much better

I couldn't believe how big his eye's were. Caught some bass and some perch but no gills.

David I did cast it out and retrieve it but the retrieve was ever so slow. Let it sink and started a super slow retrieve felt a couple small bumps and set the hook and the crappie was my reward. Same held true with the perch. Casted out the jig let it settle to the bottom felt the little bumps and fish caught.
