I still have a "Hula Popper" from the 60's somewhere in my tackle collection.....Also a "Bass-a-rino"....Both super good top water bass lures.........AHHHH!....Memories!

Another top water plug I like is a popper style frog plug made by Cotton Cordell. It has a sskirt on the rear hook that resembles dangling legs. Its similar to the  Hula Popper made by Abrogast.

Rebel POP-R black on silver with white bucktail on the rear hook. I'm not serious Bass fisherman so I used My trusty Zebco 33 with 10 lb test line.

I am in agreement with Jim and John.Great Bass in great looking Bassy water.What plug did it hit ? We have a Bass group with a list of favorite Topwater lures.I'd like to see your choices Keith.
