I've always been a big fan of 2-3 days before the full moon. But in the last three years, I've noticed most of my biggest gills are on the new moons. Most of the high 2's and 3 lbers were on the new moon.

Awesome "Greenhead" Robbie! What is your opinion on moon phases in relationship to catching big bluegill?........ I really like a couple days either side of the full moon in Northeast N.C.
