When I started BBG, it would take two years to get that many looks.  Amazing!!!

Nobody's getting banned! LOL.  :-)

Civility has already won, and all is good.  Just remember everybody, we can still respect what we don't absolutely agree with.  Open minds...

Well LOFR, I think it comes down to this: Are you comfortable spending the money for the supermodel? If so, then I would go for it.You can always go find a free range girlfriend at a later date, but opportunities to fish with a Victoria's Secret model don't come around very often, and I'm willing to bet that it would be quite the experience, one you would always remember. And that's what life is supposed to be about, isn't it? The experience?

I'm having a hard time believing where this thread has gone. It was a simple photo, of a BG that I'm willing to bet ANY of us would've been proud to catch, in any BOW. But now, it's turned into something else entirely.

If fishing exclusive water is not in your plans, that's fine. If you think that feeding BG constitutes an unfair advantage, or that fed fish are easy to catch, that's fine too. I truly believe that there's room for all of us here, as I've stated multiple times in this thread. That's my observation anyway.

But, we need to respect each others opinions and practices. Don't tear down or belittle someone else's accomplishments just because you don't feel as they do, or are unable to fish where they fish.
The fish may be the common denominator that brought us to the forum initially,, but as I was just recently made aware of on another site, what we've got going here now runs much deeper than scales on the surface of a Bluegill.....I would hate to see animosity and bad blood spoil what we've created. What ALL of us have contributed to.

Bruce, thanks for everything that is BBG..without you, none of this would be possible. I'm far from perfect, but I'm better than I was before I signed on here.

Robbie, I apologize. I tried my best to maintain a balanced environment, but I fear I didn't do as well as I should have. Try not to hold what was definitely not our finest moment against us....and do keep posting those photos.

LOFR : HHHHHHHHHHHHHHA HHHHHHHHHHHA I CAN POST  A PIC OF A GIRL YOU SHOULD HAVE IN THE BOAT WITH YA!!!!!!!!!! SHE is a free range model of sorts and she would take your mind of not catching anything  mometarily anyway........

I just read all the comments this morning, and I can see both sides, so when yall figure this all out you can help me with my problem, I'm looking for a new girlfriend to go fishing in the boat with me , what do yall think I should do, should I go get a FREE RANGE girlfriend or do you think I should spend big bucks and hire a Victoria 's Secrets Model  to set in the boat with me and catch fish?

I wouldn't call it an argument, more of a passionate comparison of opinions. And you're right about the politeness....that's what sets BBG apart from other similar sites. And while differing opinions are a part of any onlime forum, we strive to keep it civil, and respectful, always.

Unfortunately, written word doesn't always transmit these qualities in the same way oral conversation does. Everyone has their own opinion, the trick is to express that opinion in such a way that is not interpreted as being deragatory, or spiteful, OR.........portrayed as fact, instead of merely an opinion.
