Do you love big bluegill?
Had about an hour and a half to fish before rain… water temperature was at 48 degs. Set out to find some lunkers and couldn’t find anything at all for about 30 mins. Fished a 6 ft cut right up to shore and connected with (2) 9 in class and (1) 8.5 incher followed by many between 7 and sub 6 inch gills. Started off with crawlers ended up with the pink maggot under bobbers.

thanks tinknocker!
dang nice fall report !
thanks Dick and Mike...
i really enjoy fishing out in the cold as long as theirs mild winds or less... when i started out high were in the mid to upper 30s and water temps in the upper 40s and there's no other boats around! i had the whole lake to myself.
Dick there was skim ice on my garden pond this morning.
Awesome.......
Looks like your still finding fish won't be long you'll be drilling holes.
thanks Carl and Jim!... i love fishing in the cold late fall and early spring ... these are when the hogs hit... im usually fishing walleye smallmouth and pike this time of year... i have never bobber fished for bluegills at this water temp 48 degs
