Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Thanks for this cool group everyone!  I currently have a 1/4 acre pond that I'm wanting to redo.  I am unable to locate a source for Rotenone or someone to do it for a good price.  I live in MD, so if anyone can help provide any information for me, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Rotenone is federally restricted so you will never be able to buy it unless you become certified. I own a pond business in Iowa and we apply that stuff from time to time. The product is very expensive and the liability is high as well. If you have any outflow you will either need to drop the level so nothing is going out or treat the water as it exits to neutralize the Rotenone or you will kill fish downstream until it dilutes out. It also sticks around for several weeks or more as sunlight breaks down the compound so the risk will remain. Unless you have grass carp or goldfish, there may be another way to get it done without having to deal with all of this risk and expense. Sorry, but I don't know anyone in your area otherwise I would recommend someone.
