Bad Luck Stories
I caught 4 bluegill Thurs. before I laid my pole down around a post, and went to get my fishing chair. It never got pulled in before when I did this, but it did then. Whatever it was swam all around the pond, and I couldn't get it with a net, even though the pole was floating. It finally snagged on something and went under forever. BUT, I still had the 4 bluegill in my trap, only they were gone! Nothing there but a hole big enough for a med. sized bluegill to go through. So, today I found a unused spincast reel and old pole and went fishing. That has got to be the worst reel made anywhere. It snagged up inside every time I cast it. So, I cut a piece of line and tied it to my chair, but a worm on the end, and threw it in. (do I sound desperate?) Caught a fair sized bass, and put it in the trap. Big ol bass can't get out that hole. Well, guess what? The reel, and trap are now in the garbage.
