Comment by John Sheehan on November 26, 2016 at 8:17am: Zach's great 14" 1.1oz.Yellow Perch took a crawler tipped 16th oz. Chartreuse Marabou Jig .My smaller one took the same in Red/White.Overcast cold day and these Perch were shallow at 5' weed edge.44 degree water temp.

Comment by John Sheehan on November 10, 2016 at 5:48pm: Big time hats off to Mr.Dick Tabbert whose recent timely post about floating Jigheads reminded me to explore this Perch getter again after several years of negligence. I've been getting plenty of small Perch in my home lake with the split shot /Floating Jighead /Crawler piece but today i revisited a different lake and in 5-10' of water got two, between 11-11.5" using a Mr. Twister Floating Jighead,#6 hook tipped with a crawler . 3rd ,11.5" Perch took a small Nungesser soon tipped with crawler piece attached to a spinner rig another favorite panfish rig.
