Felt good rowing again in a 10' boat too. This 60 year old body needs the exercise .

What I mean Dave ,is the Perch don't like me 'cause of their sore lips .

I dunno John... for a single guy drifting in a boat - those are pretty good results.

5/22/14 Perch have vacated the shallows and dropped back to 5' flats adjacent to creek channels. Using 1/8th and 1/4 oz. Dardevle and Acme Kamlooper spoons tipped with Crawler pieces or Mealworms, about 12 Yellow Perch including an 11"  ,and 3 White Perch (Two 11") and 5 Gills cooperated today. Drifting at the North end of the lake with a South wind .

This fatty took a Genz worm/waxie combo in about 8 FOW ,close to bottom .

The few white Perch caught were decent chunks around; 10-10.5 ". Beaded Nymph/mealie , Hildebrandt/Trout Nibble did the trick.
