by the way Dick very nice layout of your property!

i would probably start out creating a perimeter file of the boundary of your pond... i get as close as possible within a foot deep or so to shore. this path is shown in white. once that is created set up a path (shown in red...covering the interior of your pond BOW.

i think this would be a good way to start.

good for speeds up to 20 mph i think..

OK I'll be alright I only have a small trolling motor. When you make the bottom of the L I can't get real close I have a dig dock in there that the feeding area.
