map of Five Lakes in Clare, mi i created in July 2014... just a very rough govt map was available before this map was published. this map with the accompanied vegetation and bottom composition layers brought me many 9 and 10in class gills and 9 in class pumpkinseeds.

Interesting stuff Ken maybe one day I'll attempt my pond.

You say, "published." Does that mean you've made your self-created map available for download?
Great article, by the way

when you upload your sonar logs for map processing you check a box private or public... private checked will make you the soul viewer of the map and will not go on the internet as a social maps. the Social map portion of the insight genesis membership allow you to see all the maps of lakes created or the ones that are work in progress. these social maps are then available to view and or download so that you could use on your specifice sonar. pretty cool. alot of lake maps being generated around me.

Sharing is a good thing, I guess.
Very interesting.

Thanks Ken this process of lake mapping really captivates my attention.

i am truly becoming obsessed with it Dick. once this mapping is done it eliminates alot of time eliminating unproductive water.

my current progress with Ross Lake in my hometown of beaverton... this is the combination of a few fishing trips.

This mapping has really got my attention since so many lakes I use to fish don't have maps or the maps they have are ancient.
