Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Back in early '70's another boy, in No.Va. showed me the smallest "plug" I'd ever seen. Two little trebles, was even jointed ! Had a metal lip. We KILLED the big bluegills on a large private lake outside of Leesburg somewhere. Never saw the lure again. Anyone seen or heard of these ? When I told my Dad-n-law of it, He dug deep in an old tackle box and gave me a small, metal lipped plug with a spade shaped lip. This one, not jointed, says L&S, USA, on the lip. body and lip total 2" long. The rocky jr was about same size, as well as I can remember from 35 or so yrs ago ! steve b

never heard about it.
2lb. test lure?

I have some tiny straight body L&S Mirrolures about 1-1/2" long.  I use either 4# or occasionally 6#.  I think 2# might be too light - the hooks could nick the line.

They work good for stream trout.  I just hold them in place next to an undercut bank and hang on.
