Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I just realized I sent everyone a MESSAGE instead of posting a TOPIC.

I am very sorry!

Thanks

That is why I couldn't find the thread on here! ;-)

FWIW: My wife and I have three fly rods. A Cortland 2 piece 5 wt that I have used for years (first fly rod / combo). I bought a TFO Lefty Kreh Professional 4 piece (I think) 3 wt travel rod a couple years ago and a Sage 3 or 4 piece 0 wt travel rod last year. I really like the 3 wt for bluegills and etc. We haven't used the 0 wt much yet; but hope to catch a bunch of bluegills with it this year to see how it does.
Never saw the message, but no problem.

I have a Shakespeare 3-pc 5wt that I used for 15+ years. Also, an Albright 5wt on the way to replace the (broken) one that replaced the Shakespeare. And a 3wt Albright that I've been having fun with for the last couple weeks - lots of fun on gills and bass! Oh, and a Cabela's 10wt for the briny stuff.
5 wt St croix premier and able PT5 reel - over kill most of the time, but I get bass on it as well. and a 3wt st croix Avid with a sage 3100 reel - this one is a BLAST for gills.
