Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

If you are fishing a new place where would you start fishing,
north end, east end, south end, west end or find stumps.
I like to fish in the mornings and it seems to take my forever
to find them. I find them but would like to cut down the time
it takes.
By the way, I like to bow hunt but because of arm problems
and arm being cut on to many times I have found a new hobby.
I love to catch bluegills but it always takes so long to find them.

target the shallows 4-6 feet of water, this usually means opposite the dam
fish with more than 1 pole, and always have a bobber / worm rig set up with a slip setup this way you can adjust your depth with a slide of the stop
get a pair of polarized sun glasses and look for under water structure, the big gills will be close by
i'm no expert but ive caught a few thousand gills this way
