Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hello all the Sunfishers in Illinois...does anyone know if TL Anderson's Sunfish farm still open? I've tried doing a google search on it and can find phone numbers to call, but all disconnected. The website is down also...I was hoping someone on here would know. I'm really wanting to take a trip down there since its only about 1 & 1/2 hrs drive for me. If anyone has any info on this please let me know. Thanks

What part of illinois is this in
Area code 618 is a large area including Carbondale and East St. Louis Illinois. I would't mind knowing the nearest town also.
It says DeSoto IL, which is closer to Carbondale
I know that place from an old newspaper from Chicago and Outdoors Notebook magazine. I remember about website that have big bluegills, bass and even big tiger musky. I was plan go there but never did because too far south from my home. I found out that Tim Anderson is passed away and I am not sure Sunfish Farm is still open or maybe new owner bought that farm and its private but I dont know! Known as Home of the famous Buster Bluegill!

I plan to contact Herman Brothers for more information how to go fish there, fee, etc! Its about 3 hours drive from Chicago. Big Bluegills and monster hybrid sunfish!
