Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Just confirmed what I had thought was happening - the ground is getting farther away!

Took the puppy out for his evening "potty break" and noticed night crawlers were out all over the lawn. The old light went on! Free bait for a trip to the lake tomorrow!

Went back out with my flashlight (actually a LED headlamp) and an empty coffee can (just like I did 50 or 60 years ago) and picked up 25 or 30 for tomorrow. But it seems like I had to reach a lot farther than I did back then? Decided to just squat down and "waddle" around to get them. It worked, but I thought I was going to have to call for help to get back up. LOL

Now (if I can get out of bed tomorrow) - I'm going fishing!

Somebody up here in MI mentioned that as well.  I saw some worm casting at a public park earlier today.  I've got some dry worm bedding; I guess I need to find a container, moisten some of the worm bedding, and get to catching.....

ARMS GETTING SHOTER ??  SOUNDS LIKE MY PROBLEM TO;; ALONG WITH ;; THE DREADED;; CHESTERDRAWERS !!  ITS WHERE;; MY CHEST; FELL DOWN TO MY DRAWERS !  LOL !!        MIKE;; HAVE YOU EVER TRIED;; FIDDLING FOR WORMS ??  ITS A OLD ; SOUTHERN TRADITION !   TAKE A OLD; RIP HAND SAW;; AND VERY SLOWLY;; CUT ACROSS  A SMALL SAPLING TREE;; SENDING VIBRATIONS; UNDERGROUND !  THEY CANT STAND IT; HAVE TO COME UP TOP !  YOU CAN OF COURSE; DRIVE A POINTED 2X4 INTO THE GROUND  AND SLOW CUT THAT ! !!

Never tried "fiddling" but I made an electric probe years ago. 120V hot line and push it into the ground, worms would pop up quickly!
