Spoon fed gills
Made my first trip with spoons this weekend.It took me alittle while to find the right combination for the area I was fishing but after that I had a blast.Thanks Bill.I was unsure about how to fish them so I chose this outing with my wife to give them an try. I knew we were on fish as she was wacking them pretty good with a jig.This gave me the confidence to keep working the spoons.We were catching pre spawn males in 8-10 fow. Water temp was 67 deg. here in wi.

I've been casting and retrieving the spoons. When the fish are hot I just tip with plastic skirts. When the bite is off I tipped them with wax worms per advice from Bill Modica.Gotta Salmon fish for three days I'll get you guys that article Monday.
