Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I was thinking about the next Rendezvous and thought , " This would be a perfect opportunity to have a Shore Lunch " , what do yall think, cooking fresh fish on the bank , just like I remember doing it in the past when I was growing up. When was the last time yall did that ? Let me know what yall did for a shore lunch for ideas. Then that would give us a chance to catch more fish in the afternoon , would eating fish twice in one day be too much, I could cook the lunch with cornmeal and in the evening I could cook fish with tempura batter. What do yall think , It would help out my planning. Thanks LOFR

Ok , made my reservations for Kentucky Lake , I'll be in the Cabin right next to Carl and Tootie, and I ready to do some shore lunch , Remember  , all the food I cook is 90%  Possum Free ! ,Southern cuisine at it's  finest. Thinking about making Tootie a baked possum stuffed with grits, yum-yum !   Dont miss our next Rendezvous  LOFR

when we drive to town and see roadkill we stop and draw a chalk outline around it so on the way home if we see any road kill with out a chalk outline we know it's fresh.  LOFR

Ok , plans are coming together, by buddies say  I would be doing yall wrong if I didn't fix my Famous Red Beans and Rice for yall so I have included it in the menu for Friday night at the Rendezvous , I have had people from other States beg me for the recipe, quote " I can't go another day  without that recipe ", and I'm glad to share , I had some at a cajun restaurant last fall and Mine is better , a lot better, so get ready , your taste buds wont believe it.   LOFR

I would say we ate like kings at the first rendevou;; but kings don't eat that good!  what we had was awesome!!
