Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Watched a show on tv talking about Rush Lake in the Witchita Mountians, near Lawton, Oklahoma. The target fish were redear. Googleing it in that area there are 13 lakes, all stocked with blue gill and red ear, plus bass crappie and catfish. Has anybody down in that area of south central Oklahoma, or north Texas, ever fished this area or know anything about it? I would like to learn more about it, before I head down that way. Any input would be great.

They created this lake with redears in mind? VERY cool. Hope to hear how it goes.
Josh, aren't all lakes created for red ear and gill the others are just for filler.
To keep them under control yes, I had forgotten and I sincerely apologize. What does Bruce call LMB? BG management devices?
