Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Does anyone know if Richmond Mill Lake in North Carolina is public or private? I am on leave after returning from Afghanistan and love flyfishing for Bluegill but can't afford to take a guided trip. All of the information I've been able to find about this lake has been online from guiding websites but I cannot afford what any of them are asking. I live at Fort Bragg about an hour away and would love to take a trip there, but if the lake is private then obviously I can't make the trip. Any info would be much appreciated, Thanks!

I believe it's guided trips only, but Bruce could tell you for sure. Looks like a dream of a fishery though.

Yep, guided trips only.

It is a private lake on a private wildlife preserve.
