Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Has anyone used Berkley pink maggots? I found a website that sells them for 1.00 a jar under the name fisherman' choice. I've had good success tipping jigs with power nibbles, but I haven't tried these or the Berkley pinkies.

yes i have used them and sometimes they do work but most times i do not have any luck with them
I've fished them on occasion white... yelo... and pink... had some success but I found the fish didn't hold onto them very long. I use real maggots at times, I can get them in red, blue, green and yelo. On a tough day they can really come through for you... especially in cold water.

I'll put a few out there with a sling shot (designed for the purpose) and float fish them or just put a tiny shot on and "Feel it down"... keep an eye on the line for the "Twitch"... sometimes if you wait to feel the hit... it'll be too late.

Regards

Rob
I've had the same results with them also.
