Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hey everyone, I posted this on a Nebraska forum, but I thought I would share it here. My grandpa passed away a few years ago, and recently I was at my Grandma's looking through his fishing stuff. After grabbing some rods, reels, and some tackle, I stumbled across some old lures that were in ziplock bags stored in his shed. I thought I would share the picture, as I don't know much about them. I know the jointed one is a Mirrolure Sinker and the box belongs to a Creek Chub Dive Bomber, which I believe is the yellow one. Anyway, just thought I would share. Feel free to chime in.

Bryce I believe you're right about the bottom left one being a mirror lure . 1960's I'm thinking I'd like to know what brand the ruddered lures.top left are !

They look like Arbogasts.
Check those eyes.

Yea I see what you mean .Dig those rudders(anal fins)!

Yep
Seems kinda pointless, but anything to hook the fisherman.
Bottom right is creek chub dive bomber if 2 7/8" long. Made 1942-1954. If 3 3/4" long it is a big bomber. Name changed to kreeker around 1950. The color pattern is called victory---dot dot dot dash on side is morse code for V (victory). That pattern appeared about 1947. There were two variations----white body with red head or yellow body with red head. Nice find and if that is the box pictured then extra nice find.

interesting Jim!
