Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Can Someone help me out? I'm having some custom soft plastics done and I came up with this color that I named Baby Bluegill:

Baby gill: Olive green plastic mixed with light yellow with Blue, purple, and orange flake

Am I missing any colors or shades or tints? I'm trying to get this color as close as humanly possible to look like a bluegill in the water

Black for the spot on the gill and for darkening the olive on the back. Other than that I think you pretty well got everything covered. Except maybe a cream color with a hint of brown for the sides. That would be if it was a vary young gill. I would go to your computer type in baby gill and pictures, you will get lots of sample pictures there. Good luck and maybe when you get then done you can show us a photo of the finished product. Good luck and GOOD FISHIN..

You might throw in a tiny bit of red; for the red of the gills or possibly an injury, which seems to attract other fish.  And Dick hit the nail on the head with the black speck.  This is almost like tying flies.

Can you get a two tone plastic ? My idea is  light clear yollow / cream with an olive back and not to many

flicks. Maybe some yellow and orange flecks, put in silver half of the plastics for sunny days and in the other half glod for over cast cloudy low light times. If you are fishing early mornings 11am -1PM

and an hour before dark I would use blue and gold fleck in the two tone plastic. Fishin' Jimmy

Revised color:

Baby gill: Olive green plastic mixed with light yellow (or Chartreuse)  with Blue, purple, and orange flake, mix in a little cream coloring and add a hint (1 or 2 drops) of Brown to the plastic, tiny bit of red ( just a few drops). There should be more olive than orange coloring in the bait with a little Blue Hi-Lite powder if possible

New Colors:

Big Blue: A very light creamy yellow base with the other side being a dark green pumpkin with silver flake a orange flake

Blue Jr: A very light creamy yellow base with the other side being a dark green pumpkin with blue and gold flake

Could you send a picture when you get the new plastics?? How about a fishin' report when you  fish them !  Fishin' Jimmy  AKA Jim Ducy

Here are two of the colors to imitate red ear
