Do you love big bluegill?
So I have been unsuccessful at findind someone who is able to Rotenone my pond in Central MD for a reasonable price. The pond is only 1/4 acre and I'm simply not willing to do it myself.
I'm just throwing this out there incase anyone knows of someone, or is able to do it. Just either post on here or shoot me a private message!
Thanks

Just an Idea. Since Hydrated lime really kicks up the PH on a BOW and can cause a fish kill, you could buy a couple of sacks distribute (wear a respirator). Just monitor your PH every few hrs. as you put the product in the pond. Stop when the PH is high enough for the kill, then wait for the PH to drop. IMHO
Hydrated lime is not an effective replacement for rotenone - I learned that the hard way. I had told a pond owner it would be a cheaper alternative to rotenoning, because that's what I had read; so we doused her one-acre pond with it, and it did indeed kill a few fish, but it also left hundreds of small fish that we wanted dead, swimming around merrily in the foot of water we had drained the pond down to, completely unaffected.
