Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Anybody have any jig ideas for after dark? I guess it needs to show up better? Lite up float ?? Thanks

My experience is Gills quit biting shortly after dark but Crappies and Bullheads turn on.Jigs or spoons will take Crappie .Their big eyes will find the bait tipped jig or spoon easily and to help them out and keep it moving slowly .

 

bass pro has a crappie jig that glows in the dark if you shine a light on it first, its called squirmin squirt glow worm or something like that.
