Do you love big bluegill?

Anyone using an automatic fish feeder in a pond and if so which one and how do you like it?

john;; you definitely need to talk to ;; tony Livingston;; and Walt Foreman!!  both of them;; manage ponds !!  grow some really nice blue gills!

Hi John, maybe Walt will chime in with his recommendations, as I know he utilizes feeders. I feed by hand, as I live right on the property. I do know that a lot of my friends really like the Texas Hunter feeders. They are pricey, but reportedly very nice units.

Hi John.  I sell all of the top brands, which are Texas Hunter, Sweeney, Pond King, and Platinum which used to be Diamond.  All of these are made in Texas and are far superior to the cheapo brands which invariably tear up or fail within a year of purchase.  Sweeney recently added an auger to their directional feeders that makes them far superior to other feeders for growing big bluegill because they'll throw much larger pellets, up to 1/2" in diameter, than the other quality feeders other than Pond King, and the Pond King is over a grand.  Sweeney is having a sale right now - let me know if you're interested and I can get you 5% off the sale price on a 125-lb. or 425-lb. directional fish feeder.
