I will not experiment with an heirloom! However, I may put some worms in with my crickets leftover from todays outing. The crickets tore 'em up but the worms got one hit. Of course the worms didn't get equal time but they didn't deserve it. A little cricket smell might help. BTW, I forgot to sniff the crickets individually. Neither did I notice an odor in the truck this morning. Crickets don't stink!
Tell that to the leftover ones in my cricket tube from last week, I think they got some kind of Mad Cricket Disease going on ,I need to clean out my cricket tube , it got some kind of cricket smell happening.
This may be a fake cricket discussion, but them tornadaos ain't fakin'!!! You might want to relocate your fishin' hole. Won't be safe in any other southern state but I never heard of a tornado in Nevada or Arizona or places like that. Lord of the REAL DRY Flys. Got a nice ring to it!
ok I'm a cricket man. As qiuck as they hit the water the gills were tearing them up. One right after another. Ya cricket and more cricket. Boogieman and Mayo you are the man crickets are the only bait I'll use to fish for gills. Old dog can learn new tricks
building a cage today for crickets found a supplier north of me. I'm going to buy them by the 1000. Might sale them on the side. But most likely feed them to the gills. lol
Well the gills here in Tn. like my real crickets. Have been catching doubles here under the hobson pike bridge. Filled my cooler in about three hours. Sure am glad I'm quick with a knife. All my friends at Home Depot love me as I bring them fresh fish. Now if I could just get some of them out on the lake to catch they're own.
Tom, I never have double dated with my crickets. When you catch two like that, do they pull against each other and just sorta pop out of the water and into the cooler?
