Back on the river
Haven't been on fresh water in a while; my guide business has been too good and I just haven't had the time.
Got out on the Manatee River a couple of days ago. Tide was nearly slack and fishing even slacker. Best time to fish the river is on an outgoing. When tide started coming in, it was time to go home.
Caught 30 bluegill, all but six small. Also managed a bass. All on No. 10 poppers and my Myakka Minnow.
It was good to be back.
