Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I frequent Cabelas to look at the aquarium (mostly in the cold months) and I love to see the many different kinds of fish they have on display. They do have some very large impressive bluegills.
My question is, since these fish are in a temperature regulated environment, will they never spawn?

Not That I have the answer, but I did have a lot of experience with raising and spawning aquarium fish (cichlids mostly). Temperatures never fluctuated more than a couple degrees throughout the year. Seems that spawning would occur soon after a 50% water change in my aquariums. I always would match water temps as close as I could when changing water. That would often be enough to encourage a spawn. My guess would be a slight change in water chemistry sort of like a fresh rain in the wild?
