Anyone fish Santee Cooper?
Hey Gang,
I live about three hours from Santee Cooper in South Carolina. I have fished it plenty of times before for other species. Now, I'm trying to concentrate on shellcrackers in the diversion canal. From what I gather, the "better" fish are caught during November/December time frames. Can anyone else feed me some more info. The world record came from the end of the canal, I've dropped my underwater camera in that area..I'm trying to learn the habits of trophy shellcrackers. Most of the locals fish for numbers, I want quality fish. Any help is appreciated.

you know when Amos caught that fish, him and his partner had a cooler full of 3 lb'ers, so there is definatley a secret to it....
