Fine Yellow Bhead!

Yellow Bullhead using Hot Dog Chunks .

Brown Bully hit a crankbait trolled near a ledge .

Most of my Bullheads are caught at night but a few come during the daytime.

Nice fish ya got there Ken !

thanks and you too... i wish i could say i was targeting him but he was caught by accident.. i wanted to go back at night and target them intentionally. i remember how fun it was as a kid.... bobbers and globs of nightcrawlers. the lake i lived on during the summers had a fish survey done and bullhead was the number 1 predator in the lake. the lake association held fishing contests throughout the year to fish for carp, small gills and bullheads to bring down their numbers. i remember them tasting pretty good at dinner. a fish that brings back some fond memories for me.

I never used bobbers for bullys .A split shot 8" up from the hook and blocking a 16th oz sliding sinker .I catch them by overflow dams.
