Great work. They'll be putting some big gills in the boat for sure.

Thnx guys

I'm using Teal, Gadwall, & Mallard flank feathers. I like teal and select Gadwall the best. Ran out of bird hunting friends so now searching for new sources. Hardest part is finding a consistent size (2") because I use 2 feathers and tye with the stem.

This is a top shelf collection and the proof is in the fish landed ..............I'm a lifetime jig under float fisherman so this is really cool to me...........Awesome

Excellent work! What kind of feathers are those?

Thnx John - yes I tye them. Pour the lead and powder paint them too. I use Eagle Claw #6 lil' Nasty BLN hooks. The jigs are 1/24th, 1/32nd, & 1/48th. The pattern for the roundhead jig w/rubber legs is the "Automatic, A.K.A Auto, and the other pattern/jig is the Chub and the Chub Bellyspinner. There are tutorials on how to tye them on jigcraft.com.

At least 95% of my hook ups are in the top of the mouth - not sure if it's the hook or jig. The sickle hook is a modified version of the circle hook. So far this year I have had only one gut hook.
