lol... i thought wd40 meant ya put a little dab under the wings for scent...
According to the video I watched, the "WD" part probably stands for "Wood Duck", as you're supposed to use Wood Duck flank feather fibers in the pattern. Not sure about the "40" part. The person that did the video also mentioned that he prefers to use Mallard Flank dyed Lemon (a good imitation for Wood Duck), as the barrings are closer together, and he prefers to use his Wood Duck for wings in classic Catskill-style dry flies. The "Plus" part is because this bug has a split wing case and an emergent wing. The original (which I also posted) does not have those features.
