Do you love big bluegill?
I'm thinking about getting a kayak, some of my best ponds have limited access
and a lot of trees around them. Any suggestions on kayak's and rigging
would be appreciated.

I fish from a yak almost exclusively. Rivers/ponds/lakes. They work great anywhere and can go places lots of boats can't. You'll get used to using a yak after a few excursions. I absolutely love mine and you won't catch me without one from here on out. Good luck
I've been fish'n rivers out of a kayak now for almost 30 years. At first, they were my white water kayaks, then a few sinks (sit-in-kayaks) and now since I've gotten a bit older & messed my back up in a car accident, I have two sit on tops. One for every day fishing, one to carry camping year when I over night on an island.
The couple times I've fished private ponds or lakes with them, they are awesome. I prefer to be in an area that's very hard for motor boats to get to when fishing out of a yak.
Check out the jackson coosa kayak. It has a height adjustable seat and is very stable. I fish out of an Ocean Kayak Drifter which is a sit on top model and if I need to stretch my legs I just sit side saddle for a while. A good air cushion is money well spent for a comfortable day on the water. I use the self inflating seats that hunters use and can fish all day as long as I have it under my butt.
I fish for everything out of a kayak. Main thing is get one you have demoed and one you can afford and get started. Nothing like fishing out of a kayak. I'm blessed with a Hobie pro angler 14 which you can stand up in and fish the Gulf in,but I started out with a simple cheap kayak years ago. Start out with one you have tried out and can afford. I'm 67 years old and just got the kayak of my dreams. All fishing is more fun out of a kayak.
