Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I went out to my favorite gill spot this weekend and couldnt catch harldy any on my usual float and cricket technique. The spot i fished was a lot of long docks in prety deep water 4-6 feet. I tried many of things before i just started to drag the cricket with a split shot along the bottom really really slow. I caught one on the first cast, then the second cast, and then seriously every cast. I couldnt believe that many fish were there. I had been fishing all weekend around fish but they didnt want the cricket or worm still, they wanted it moving. I hope someone gives this try because i went from catching a couple to dozens of big gills. I will post pics later.
