Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Here down South we dont get out on the ice in the winter ,but this is the time of year that if we cant  get on the water we are plotting and scheming to get out on the water , so my question is who of you would have interest in meeting up on Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee either the weekend of May the 10th or May the 17th. Reelfoot is famous for  it's bluegill and crappie, and after a day's fishing we could have a big fish fry and sit around and tell lies to each other, so anybody else out there interested  in a road trip fishing trip ?    LOFR

If we can't catch'em then we can go Boyett's or Bluebank Resort to eat catfish.

Keith, I was looking at the map and I'm only 100 miles from Reelfoot, I have been there before as a kid but I have ever fished there, I have fished other lakes over here in Arkansas that were created the same day as Reelfoot Lake. Over here they call them the Sunken Lands. Ok  I'm interested ,wish we could get others  interested too,it would be fun . LOFR

Lots of picnic areas and campgrounds. Different areas to fish, open water, cypress trees and knees ,lillypads, and grassy shoreline. Lots of stumps I wouldn't bring a fiberglass boat. You can still rent the famous Reelfoot Lake boats.

at reelfoot- they have 2-- 3- up to 7 day package deals-- includes boat.  at the blue bank resort.  try getting billy blakey to help out-- he;s a guide there
