you cant beat a good camp fire-- grill looks great!! a dutch oven with beans  and onions on a grill-- smoked a bit- oh yea !! and a few fillets of gills!!  texas style taters!!  when do we eat!!

 David , I'm real sad  I'm not around the fire right now, but the rain started out as sleet, but now it's a hard rain till noon tomorrow, may be Sunday I can get some fire pit face time . LOFR

 Ok, you guessed it , we call it catwalk material, and it should last longer than me, and yes I did weld it up, the part I like the best is that the post is in another post set in concrete so the grill can swing out over the fire, so we can adjust the heat from the bottom, it makes a good gill grill when use use cast iron to cook with .  LOFR

Nothing beats gill fillets cooked in peanut oil over an open fire, LOFR. I can all but smell them sizzling as I look at the camp fire. Did you build the grill? It looks real good.
